Nestled in the small Cotswold village of Cold Aston between Cheltenham and Bourton-on-the-Water is The Plough Inn, a true country pub.
The Plough Inn is a firm favourite with the locals and run by locals, The Plough Inn offers a wonderful warm welcome, real ales, cracking wines and delicious home cooked freshly prepared food. br / br / With its old Cotswold flagstones, original beams and a roaring fire you can lose yourself in the history of this grade two listed seventeenth century Inn whilst relaxing and creating a base to explore the North Cotswolds and beyond. br / br / br / br / Ideally located to visit many of the areas main attractions including Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, The Slaughters, Broadway, Snowshill, Burford, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Cotswold Farm Park and of course Cheltenham, with race weeks being extra special events in the area. br / br / br / br / Food is important at The Plough Inn being one of Nick and Laura s biggest passions. Top quality locally produced ingredients are used to create delicious freshly prepared home cooked dishes. Seasonal produce is central to our menus and we constantly change our specials board depending on what is good that day. The Plough Inn is unique in having a Bertha, an indoor charcoal oven perfect for cooking the perfect chargrilled steak or whole fish. br / br / br / br / We have three ensuite double/ twin rooms varying in size and price each with their own unique character. Each room is named after a local village, which the Plough Inn has served since the seventeenth century. The rooms have been renovated and decorated sympathetically to preserve the character of this grade two listed building. br / br / br / br / Each room has a really comfortable bed with crisp fresh white linen, feather pillows and duvet (please ask for hypoallergenic if needed), fluffy white towels, ensuite bathroom with bath and/ or shower, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. If you need anything else such as an iron please just ask. br / br / We welcome well behaved dogs in some rooms, please contact us for further information (charges apply).

London - Road: M40 to Junction 8 A40 via Oxford towards Cheltenham At roundabout after Burford, take third exit onto A429 After 4 miles, take the left hand turn to Cold Aston. br/ br/ M40 North - Road: From junction 11 M40, follow A429 towards Cirencester/ Stow on the Wold Pass through Moreton in the Marsh and Stow on the Wold. Follow A429 past Bourton on the Water, turn right onto A436 Old Gloucester Road 0.5 mile turn left to Cold Aston.
